NORDIC PHOTO CONTEST 2012
NORDIC PHOTO CONTEST – Jörgen Språng did it again!
HELSINKI, 10th February, 2012
The final competition was held in Helsinki. 75 photographs from Iceland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland were judged by Torsti Laine and Tatu Korhonen. According to the commentators there were a lot of good and sharp pictures with beautiful colors. Some pictures would have become better by cropping.
The commentators were looking for more pictures of seamen at work, captain on the bridge, cook at the galley, enginemen down below or able seamen on the deck. Some good shipyard pictures could be found, anyway.
All together 204 photographers participated the competition with 1268 pictures.
